HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A look at the Waltrip High School Band's efforts to raise funds to march in the National Independence Day Parade in Washington, DC on July 4.

The band is the only high school band in Texas invited to the event. But the school has run into a financial hurdle trying to raise the $180,000 needed for the band to make the trip.
