HOUSTON -- February is American Heart Month. Dr. Reynolds Delgado, a cardiologist with the Texas Heart Institute at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, discusses heart disease in the Hispanic community.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the Hispanic community. Hispanic women are likely to develop heart disease 10 years earlier than white women and sadly, only 1-in-3 Hispanic women is aware that it is their number one killer.
