Man apologizes for road rage
Rashaad Ben has apologized for a road rage incident caught on video

AUSTIN, TX (KTRK) -- A man caught on camera in a viral road rage incident in Austin is coming forward to say he's sorry.

Julie Nowlin was driving with her 4-year-old daughter in the back seat when the incident happened.

Nowlin says she tried to take a picture of Rashaad Ben's license plate when she saw him driving erratically. That's when he got out and spit on her windshield, yelling and cursing at her.

Having seen the video of his behavior go viral, Ben shared this response. He said, "I came here to apologize to my family and Mrs. Nowlin and to the community for acting the way I did and for my obscene language and obscene behavior."

Several people in the community who saw the video say, they've seen Ben involved in other road rage incidents before.
