Texans give kids Christmas to remember
The Texans gave underprivileged Houston children a Christmas to remember by taking them on a holiday shopping spree.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Dozens of children got to fill shopping carts for an early Christmas courtesy of some Houston Texans players.

Kareem Jackson hosted 50 children from The Boys & Girls Club at his 2016 "Shop with a Jock" holiday event. He may have been the headliner, but the children were the stars.

"If I can give them an early Christmas to put a smile on their face, I'm all about that," Jackson told Eyewitness News. "I think all kids should have something under the tree and something to love forward to for the holidays."

Jackson was joined by fellow Texans Jadeveon Clowney, Alfred Blue, Quintin Demps, Nick Novack, Greg Mancz and Kendall Lamm at the Walmart on S. Rice. The night started with dinner and games and ended with a $100 shopping spree.

"It' special to me. I'm having a good time hanging out with the kids. I love kids," Clowney said.
