Texas Children's nurses were awarded Super Bowl tickets

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Five top nurses at Texas Children's Hospital were each given a pair of tickets to the Super Bowl as a thank you for the hard work they do every day.

They were nominated by their bosses and were blown away by the prize.

Direct Energy supplied the tickets.

The nurses were also recipients of the hospital's 2016 Nursing Excellence Awards.
