When a Michigan woman was confronted with bullies in a donut store, she knew just what to do: she killed them with kindness.
Dianne Hoffmeyer was waiting in line to get donut holes for her teething 22-month-old daughter when two middle-aged women walked into the store and began making comments about her weight and looks.
Hoffmeyer, who recently lost 177 lbs., tried to brush off the comments but finally caved. She bought the women's coffee.
She says she wanted to set a better example for her children by paying it forward, rather than acting on impulse and lashing out.
Hoffmeyer posted her encounter on Facebook and it has since gone viral, with lots of support, of course.
