HOUSTON (KTRK) -- ABC13 reporter Patricia Lopez has a ton of freebies for this weekend, including free comic books, Houston Ballet performances and a chance to catch 'Mulan' with the kids.

Free Comic Book Day
If you are a fan of superheroes and fantasy stories, you'll want to head to some participating Houston-area comic book shops for Free Comic Book Day! You can get your hands on a free comic book while supplies last.

Watch the Houston Ballet at Miller Outdoor Theatre
The Houston Ballet is preforming at the Miller Outdoor Theater tonight, tomorrow and Sunday night at 8pm. Enjoy a season of selections from the ballet each night.

Houston Dragon Boat Festival
This weekend is the Houston Dragon Boat Festival. Bring your family and friends to watch the races and performances Saturday and Sunday. The event takes place at Tony Marron Park.

Free Relaxation for Mom and Grandma
Mothers and grandmothers can enjoy a free weekend of relaxation at the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens. The event is from 1-5pm on Saturday and Sunday. There will music and lemonade. Moms are free. Everyone else gets discounted tickets.

'Mulan' screening at Discovery Green
It's 'Screen on the Green' tomorrow night at Discovery Green. Disney's feature film 'Mulan' will be on the big screen at 8:30pm. But come an hour early for fun contests and activities.

Become one with nature
Take a walk with mom at the Nature Discovery Center at 7112 Newcastle in Bellaire this Saturday from 10-11am. Jim McKee, a master naturalist, tree lover and bird watcher will lead walks to teach us how to identify the trees that live in Russ Pitman Park.
