HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Some of Houston's most well-spoken elementary school students channeled Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Friday morning for the annual MLK Oratory Competition.
This year, the students focused on what Dr. King's vision would be for America in 2020 with an emphasis on a modern problem.
This year's winner, Brandon Curbow of Crespo Elementary School, talked about school violence, which is a topic that hits close to home for many students.
