JFK's letter to mistress on the auction block in Boston
BOSTON, MA -- An auction house in Boston is hoping to make bank on a four-page love letter from John F. Kennedy to his mistress.
The letter is believed to be among his last notes written before the president was assassinated in Dallas in 1963.

The letter never made it to its intended recipient, believed to be Mary Meyer.
Meyer was killed a year after the letter was written.
In the letter, Kennedy asks Meyer to leave the suburbs for a rendezvous in Cape Cod or Boston.

The letter is written on White House stationary and still had faded presidential seal watermarks in the paper.
Kennedy's personal secretary had saved the letter in her collection of items from the late president.
In all, the four pages are estimated to be worth about $30,000. Bidding on the letter begins June 16.
