HOUSTON -- A look at gentrification in Houston's Third Ward neighborhood.
The area that was once predominantly African America is experiencing an influx of younger residents and a rash of new construction. Also, Melanie Lawson and Samica Knight are honored at a special ceremony at Houston City Hall.
The February 17th event was proclaimed, "Houston's Own African American Women in Television Day."
