California family wins car, trunk full of groceries in contest

YUCAIPA, CA -- A California body shop and several of its partners gave away a car to a family in need.

Tom Rash and his wife Veronica are blind and two of their four children are visually impaired so the other two children help with errands and driving the family around.

Their family car broke down and was beyond repair, so Tom applied for the car giveaway but did not expect to win.

The family not only won the car, but received a year's worth of car insurance and a trunk full of groceries.
