Meet Kim Padgett

When Kim Padgett isn't managing her public relations firm, The Padgett Group, you will find this media maven supporting charities throughout Houston. Padgett has spent the last 25 years combining her passion for public relations and charity work. She is an active community volunteer and animal advocate born and raised in Houston. Kim currently serves on the boards of Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, Escape Family Resource Center and Rice Alliance for Technology & Entrepreneurship. She is dedicated to the Partnership for Baylor College of Medicine, Goodwill Industries, Houston Achievement Place and Joyful Toyful. She is a founding board member for Evelyn's Park Conservancy, a member of the City of Bellaire Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and a lifetime member of Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Kim served on the City of Houston Mayor's Committee on Water Conservation and Human Trafficking. She chaired benefits for Citizens for Animal Protection, Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation, T. Berry Brazelton Foundation, Interfaith Ministries, Galleria Chamber of Commerce, Houston Achievement Place and others. Her fundraising includes AIDS Foundation Houston, March of Dimes, Recipe for Success and more. Recognized by numerous organizations, Padgett is the mother of two sons, Tommy and Charlie.
