8th Wonder Brewery set to open distillery

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One of Houston's craft brewery is dipping into the liquor industry.

While 8th Wonder Brewery is known for its beer, they announced that they are opening a distillery.

The brewery announced it on social media Monday.

"We're really good at not keeping secrets. 8th Wonder Distillery coming soon. More details to follow. Thanks for your support, Htown and Texas," they tweeted.

The distillery is set to open right across the street from the brewery.

There's no word on the opening date.

8th Wonder Brewery was inspired by the iconic Houston Astrodome, also known as the 8th Wonder of the World.

"We are dedicated to crafting fresh, flavorful brews, and we're proud to be a part of the Houston beerscape," the website reads.
