HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Most people retire around 65, but one legendary medic in north Harris County hasn't hung up his uniform just yet.
Cotton Weaver, 83, has served the community as a paramedic and volunteer fire fighter for decades, helping Cypress Creek EMS. While his reputation may stretch from Dallas to Galveston, notoriety isn't his motivation.
"I like helping people. I love helping people. Not to be in the spotlight or anything like that but just to help people out," Weaver said.
Weaver said there's still one thing he wants to do and that is to deliver a baby.
