Free hot cocoa and carriage rides at River Oaks District

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Is all of that holiday shopping traffic is driving you crazy? River Oaks District has a way for you to relax and get some shopping done! ROD is offering complimentary carriage rides around the shopping center. You can use the carriage to visit the stores and boutiques, or just sit back and enjoy free hot cocoa, roasted chestnuts, and live music.

Marketing manager Jennifer Rivera says the highlight is simply seeing the lights and holiday decorations, including the New York City -style window displays.

"All of the window displays that look so beautiful, especially at night it's really something you have to experience, you can't miss out," Jennifer Rivera, Marketing Manager of River Oaks District said.
