Deputies investigate deadly shooting in NE Houston
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man was killed in a shooting in northeast Houston, and investigators are now trying to determine why.
The shooting happened after 11pm at Weldon Drive at Marvell Drive.
Sheriff's deputies say a black male in his late 20s or early 30s was found lying in the grass against the fence by someone driving through the neighborhood.
An eyewitness told abc13 she heard three gun shots before firefighters and EMS arrived on the scene.
Deputies are investigating. There is no word yet on any suspects or motive in the shooting.
