Shelter in place lifted after crews clear up tanker truck accident in Pasadena

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- A shelter in place issued for residents around the area of Pasadena Boulevard at Beltway 8 East due to a gasoline tanker truck accident has been lifted, the City of Pasadena posted.

City officials say the incident occurred along the East Sam Houston Tollway.

Emergency crews acted quickly and were able to extinguish the tanker fire caused by the accident in less than 20 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
