Scaffolding collapse injures 3 in downtown Fort Worth
Three people were injured when scaffolding collapsed in downtown Fort Worth.

FORT WORTH, Texas (KTRK) -- Three people were injured, one of them critically, when scaffolding collapsed Wednesday afternoon in downtown Fort Worth, authorities said.

A worker was left dangling on the side of the building. He was wearing a safety harness that kept him from falling about three stories down. He wasn't injured.

A nearby hotel and UPS store were closed down as investigators looked for clues in to what happened.

OSHA will investigate to determine why the collapse occurred.
