Santa to bring love and magic to Houston flood victims
SANTA SIGHTING: He's making his list and checking it twice for a special visit with young flood victims in Houston.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- It may be September, but Santa Claus is set to make a special appearance in Houston to visit with children staying at the shelter at NRG Center.

One day after a visit by President Trump and other dignitaries, St. Nick and Mrs. Claus will be on hand today with nearly 900 stuffed animals for children affected by the flood.

Santa sightings are rare during this time of year, but not unheard of events.

Last August, Santa also made an appearance to spread a little magic for children after devastating floods in Louisiana.
