Reward being offered for info on fatal hit and run of grandfather

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A new reward is being offered to help find the driver who hit and killed a grandfather -- only days before Thanksgiving.

Ovidio Espinosa was collecting cans along Hopper Road on November 24 when a pickup hit him. Espinosa died at the scene. His family says the grandfather used the money he earned collecting cans to buy presents for his granddaughter.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
