An engagement ring and a puppy! Woman gets two surprises at once

This woman has more than a ring to remember her engagement by.

When Christopher Lonigro of Suffolk County, New York, decided to propose to his girlfriend Alishia, he got on one knee in front of all their loved ones. An emotional Alishia laughed as she asked, "Are you guys kidding?"

She said yes and hugged Christopher, who then turned his attention to a box which was decorated with the words, "Will you marry me?"

Christopher leaned into the box and pulled out a puppy.

Alishia cried with joy as she held her new friend. Christopher said he'd driven nine hours that morning to pick up the puppy in West Virginia and bring him home.
