Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots combine for $690M this weekend

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- With no winners of the top Powerball jackpot on Wednesday, the final weekend of the year will include two lotto drawings of prizes exceeding $300 million each.

The winning numbers from Wednesday were 3, 9, 16, 56, 60 and Powerball 3. The top prize vaults to $384 million for Saturday's drawing.

Not to be outdone, Mega Millions will also hold a drawing on Friday for its $306 million top prize.

Winning both $300 million prizes this weekend is possible but by a longshot. The odds of winning both Powerball and Mega Millions on back-to-back nights are 1 in 75 quadrillion, which holds 15 zeros in the figure.
