President Trump proclaims 'Character Counts' week
The president is encouraging people to think about character this week.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KTRK) -- Today kicks off National Character Counts Week.

President Donald J. Trump proclaimed October 15 to October 21 a week to celebrate the strong character of all citizens.

Trump said this week he is encouraging people to reflect on the characters that make us proud to be an American.
