Police: Too much lumber in a too-small car is not too safe

ONTARIO, Canada (KTRK) -- Police in Canada are now warning drivers about an unsafe lumber transportation method, after a driver was spotted with multiple large wooden planks sticking out of the windows.

Peel Region police tweeted the picture of the driver transporting the wooden planks down a busy road.

The planks extended several feet out of the window.

Police say they stopped the driver, and issued him a $160 fine for an unsecured load.
