Police rescue 89-year-old woman trapped under bed for 6 days

MIAMI, Florida (KTRK) -- Police in Miami rescued an 89-year-old woman who had been trapped under her bed for nearly a week after a bad fall.

A neighbor became worried after he didn't hear from the woman in six days and called police.

Officers dragged a piece of concrete, propped themselves up on it and climbed into her house through a window.

They raised the mattress and pulled out the woman.

She was taken to the hospital.

She's expected to be OK.
