Man shot several times during gun fight in southwest Houston, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police are searching for the suspects involved in a gun fight in southwest Houston that left one man with several gunshot wounds.

Houston police said they received a call about two groups of men exchanging gunfire in a parking lot near Sandpiper Drive and Airport Boulevard. It happened around 9 p.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived to the scene, they found a man shot several times.

Police said he's expected to survive.
