Woman violently attacked near Pleasure Pier in Galveston

GALVESTON, TX (KTRK) -- Police are looking for two more suspects in a violent attack near Pleasure Pier in Galveston.

Police arrested one suspect, Misael Jimenez, and are looking for two more people. Officers believe the trio robbed a woman who was taking photos of the pier on Monday.

Police chased down and caught Jimenez later that night after an attempted carjacking in Greenspoint.

A fingerprint on the car of the Galveston victim tied Jimenez to the pier attack.
