HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A photo shoot for foster children Child Protective Services put on this glamorous event at the Houston Center for Photography today.
Fifty area foster children waiting for adoption were all dolled up and then photographed by professionals. They are trying to attract the attention of potential parents.
"Pictures speaks a thousand words so to have a professional take it - they can get the lighting, the angle and it is also really exciting to give that child the experience to have a professional photograph taken as well," said CPS Foster Adopt supervisor Zelma Wade.
The photos will be featured on the Houston-area Heart Gallery website. There are 1,200 children in the Houston area waiting to be adopted.
