'Tough as nails' officer squirms removing dead snake

SOLANO COUNTY, California (KTRK) -- A police officer in Solano County, California, faced her fears when she attempted to move a dead snake from the roadway.

Deputy Coroner Amy Thurau is described by her colleagues as being "tough as nails."

She was caught squirming on video working to remove the snake.

Her co-workers were happy they found her one weakness.
