Today is Take Your Dog to Work Day

Today is PSI's Take Your Dog To Work Day.

If you are lucky enough to be able to take your furry pal to work with you today, there are some things you can do to make the day easier for you, your dog AND your co-workers.

Pet Sitters International has these tips:

-Do an office check. Make sure no one is allergic or afraid of dogs.

-Puppy-proof your work space. Remove any office items that could be hazardous to your dog plants, electrical cords, etc).

-Make sure Fido is fit for work. Consider your dog's temperment before bringing him to work. Not all dogs will be able to behave in a work environment.

-Prepare a doggie bag. Include food, bowls, treats, toys, poopie bags, etc. Consider a baby gate or kennel to contain your dog.

-Plan your pet's feeding times carefully.

-Avoid forcing co-workers to interact with your dog. Dog lovers will seek you out.
