Here's just a sampling of some things on this weekend's pet calendar. Bonus: all these events have free admission!
On Saturday, Blessing of the Animals at Bellaire United Methodist Church from 2-4pm. Everyone is invited. Lots of area rescue groups will be on hand. There will even be a professional photographer there to capture your pet's blessing.
Also on Saturday, Fort Bend Pets Alive! is hosting the Fort Bend Shelter Pet Expo in Sugar Land Town Square. The event is from 11am-2pm and will feature adoptable shelter pets from local shelters. Sugar Land Skeeters catcher (and animal lover) Travis Scott will also be there. The event is free for the entire family.

Bring your four-legged friends to an afternoon of fun at Discovery Green's Pet-A-Palooza event. On Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. there will be several pet and family friendly activities for all ages. Get your face-painted, get your caricature drawn, or even watch Leroy the flying dog!
All weekend long, Corridor Rescue will be on hand at the Tomball German Heritage Festival.
