Family says delivery driver stole puppies
Their surveillance camera caught the incident, when one of the dogs even tried to get back in the house

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We have new information on a story that went viral last week. FedEx has issued an apology to the couple whose dogs were allegedly stolen by a FedEx driver.

The driver was caught on surveillance video picking up the two French bulldogs from their home on the northeast side. His motive is still unclear.

The dogs were later found wandering the streets of a southeast side neighborhood. They were not harmed, and were eventually returned to their home.

On Wednesday, FedEx issued an apology to the owners, and said the driver has been fired. The company also said it is cooperating fully with the criminal investigation.
