Paws up on the Seawall: Dogs beat the heat by surfing in Galveston

GALVESTON, Texas (KTRK) -- How did you beat the weekend heat?

Several dogs in Galveston put their paws to the water on Saturday and participated in the Ohana Dog Surf Competition.

The competition was held from 8 a.m. until noon.

This event is part of Surf Dogs, a partnership between Ohana Surf & Skate and the Galveston Island Humane Society.
