Humane Society working to heal poodles seized during animal abuse case

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Four poodles that were seized during an animal abuse case are on the road to recovery.

The Houston Humane Society is working to heal the four poodles. They are being treated for heartworms, intestinal and skin issues.

Workers are also working to get the dogs ready for adoption -- unless the Humane Society wins custody of the dogs in court.
