Houston Fire Department rescues remaining puppies out of sewer

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- There were eight puppies that have been missing for three weeks in the area of Yale & 39th Street.

All but two were located, until Monday morning.

Someone reportedly heard the last 2 pups in a storm drain and began trying to rescue them.

Houston Fire Department was called to open the manhole, and residents went into the sewer to rescue them.

The two pups are now safe.
