Brazoria County SPCA collecting donations for dog bitten by snake

BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Donations are pouring in for a dog who took on a snake and survived.

The SPCA of Brazoria County says Dexter came in Sunday morning with multiple bites.

Despite the pain, volunteers say he's been nothing but a sweetheart. The rescue group posted Dexter's story on Facebook and people have donated $305 for his treatment.
