Pedestrian killed in crash on I-10 East Freeway near Dell Dale Street

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Sheriff's deputies are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on the East Freeway.

An eyewitness told ABC13 a body could be seen on the eastbound lanes near Dell Dale Street.

Multiple lanes have been shut down as deputies investigate on the exit ramp.

We do not know why the pedestrian was on the road before the crash.
