Two-alarm fire in Pasadena destroys family's home

PASADENA, TX (KTRK) -- A two-alarm fire in Pasadena sent a family running for their lives late last night.

The fire started around 10:30pm at a two-story home on Harper at Travis.

The Pasadena Fire Department says a family inside the home made it out OK, but by the time crews arrived, the flames had spread to the entire house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Fire Department says they believe the fire started in the rear of the house and spread to the house and a detached garage.

The house is a total loss.
