Oscar Mayer's world famous Wienermobile stops in Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Oscar Mayer's world famous Wienermobile stopped by the ABC-13 studios this morning.

For more than 8 decades, the famed hot dog shaped vehicle has been roaming the streets. The 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels has been an iconic part of American history for generations. It was first created by Carl Mayer, Oscar's nephew, back in 1936 as a way to bring smiles to a country during the Great Depression.
