PHOTOS: Simone Manuel, Steven Lopez celebrated in Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND (KTRK) -- The city of Sugar Land hosted a "Welcome Home Celebration" for Simone Manuel and Steven Lopez. Both competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Lopez is a two-time gold medal winner and is arguably the most decorated athlete in taekwondo history. Manuel won two gold medals and one silver medal in Brazil.
