HER-story: Simone Manuel wins gold in the women's 100-meter freestyle

United States' Simone Manuel celebrates winning the gold medal and setting a new olympic record in the women's 100-meter freestyle during the swimming competitions.

Sugar Land's Simone Manuel tied for the gold medal in the women's 100-meter freestyle at the Rio Olympics. Manuel is also the first African American woman to win an individual swimming medal.
