Ex-teacher accused of pulling child's hair, grabbing neck faces judge in north Harris Co.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A teacher faced a judge today, accused of pulling a 10-year-old girl by the hair and grabbing her neck.

Whitney Crumby is charged with injury to a child.

Deputies say last month at the Creative School of Learning in north Harris County, Crumby attacked the girl. The child is OK.

The school immediately fired Crumby and a judge ordered Crumby to have no contact with children while she's out of jail on bond.
