Man shot in wrist at north Harris County nightclub

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One man is in the hospital and another is facing aggravated assault charges after gun shots rang out near a north Harris County nightclub this morning.

It happened around 2am outside Club Escapade on the Eastex Freeway.

Deputies say the men began fighting inside the club and then took it to the parking lot. Once there, authorities say one man grabbed a tire iron while the other grabbed a gun. The suspect opened fire hitting the victim in the wrist.

The shooter was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
