A Fort Bend ISD mother is upset the student responsible for sending a vulgar note to her son hasn?t been found

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Fort Bend ISD mother is upset the student responsible for sending a vulgar note to her son hasn't been found.

The mother, who asked that we not identify her to save her son more ridicule, says she received a letter from Fort Bend ISD March 12. Inside was an official letter about the No Child Left Behind Act and there was a bonus -- an extra note that read her son's name and "you suck big (expletive)."

"This is not nice at all. My son is 14! This is very demeaning to my son," the mother told Eyewitness News.

The mother contacted his school, Fort Bend ISD's Christa McAuliffe Middle School. Administrators apologized and assured they'd investigate. Students worked in the office, doing administrative work like stuffing envelopes. The mother had hoped after almost four weeks the student responsible would have disciplined.

"I want answers," the mother said.

Fort Bend ISD sent this statement:

"McAuliffe Middle School administrators were shocked to learn of this incident and immediately initiated an investigation to identify the person responsible. That investigation is ongoing, and in the meantime, actions have been taken to ensure this does not happen again."

Specifically, Eyewitness News has learned students are no longer stuffing any envelopes.

The mother wished they had been saved the embarrassment.

"No parent should have to open anything personal from the school with anything like this. That's just mean, plain and simple," she said.
