Woman reportedly drives into business in NW Harris Co., killing husband

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman reportedly drove right into the northwest Harris County business she owns with her husband Sunday night. He died at the the hospital.

It happened around 8:35pm last night at the couple's washateria in the 15200 block of Ella. Sheriff deputies say as the couple was preparing to close up for the night, the wife went outside to her vehicle. She then reportedly hit the gas instead of the brake and drove into the business, hitting her husband.

The man, identified as Uyen Nguyen, was taken to Ben Taub Hospital where he later died.

The case remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Division.
