Woman leads police on brief chase in northwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A mother was hauled away in handcuffs after leading police on a brief chase in northwest Houston Thursday, all with her child in the car.

It happened around 4pm near 43rd Street and TC Jester. Police say the woman did not have a license and had open warrants.

The woman's husband came and got their daughter, who was unharmed. The woman told police it was all a misunderstanding, that she was actually trying to get help from officers.
