Woman involved in fatal accident in SW Houston
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman is dead after an early morning crash along the feeder road off the Southwest Freeway at the Bellaire Boulevard exit.
All southbound feeder lanes remain closed.
Eyewitnesses tell ABC 13 it appears the woman driving the SUV was involved in some kind of chase after 3am this morning.
She slammed head-on into a large metal pole of a sign that sits along the feeder road.
Police believe that she was involved in some kind of altercation with another vehicle.
Right before the accident, an HPD officer just happened to see a few cars speed down the Southwest Freeway and when that officer followed them this woman wrecked.
