Woman dies outside medical clinic after possible stabbing in SW Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman collapsed and died just feet from the door of a southwest Houston medical clinic overnight, and now investigators want to know why.

The victim was trying to get help around 7:30pm Wednesday at the surgery center at South Braeswood near Kirby.

Investigators say the woman died before she could even get inside.

HPD says they believe the victim was involved in some sort of altercation in the parking lot, and that she was possibly stabbed.

Investigators are still piecing together why a woman died in front of a surgery center in southwest Houston

Police are looking at surveillance camera video right now to see if they can determine who attacked the woman.
