Woman attacked by stray dogs in Brazoria County

ROSHARON, TX -- A woman was attacked by stray dogs this morning near Rosharon.

The 66-year-old was taking her daily walk down FM 748 this morning when two stray dogs attacked her.

The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office says she was bitten in her upper and lower legs. LifeFlight was called to transport her with non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses say they saw the dogs before drifting around but never saw them approach anyone before.

The dogs are still on the loose.
