Watch: Phoenix firefighters rescue man stuck in chimney

PHOENIX, AZ (KTRK) -- When his friends locked him out of the house as a joke, a 23-year-old man decided to go down the chimney.

The man's friends were then forced to call Phoenix Fire Rescue to report their friend was stuck, ABC affiliate KNXV-TV reports.

Crews arrived with a drill and sledgehammer and broke the outside wall of the chimney. The man was able to crawl out about 30 minutes later.

He was taken to the hospital for evaluation as a precaution. He did not sustain any injuries.
